Curated Tallow Sun Balm! This “sunscreen” will help nourish your skin and offer protection from the sun. We created this option free of chemicals found in “normal” sunscreen that harm you and the environment like: Homosalate, Oxybenzene, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, and Avobenzone. We promise to only use our simple ingredients.
Did you know Tallow provides your skin with vitamins A, D, E, and K? The tallow is locally sourced from grass fed cows! Jojoba closely resembles the sebum naturally produced by your skin. We chose jojoba because it is non-comedogenic meaning it won’t clog your pores. It is also anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Available in 4 oz glass containers with screw on lid or 0.5 oz Kraft push up tube. Plastic free containers!
How to use: Apply the balm before going outside to enjoy the sun. (: Reapply every 2 hours and after sweating or swimming. Our recipe is also safe for your face. Please read the ingredients prior to using to avoid allergic reactions. When using a product for the first time, test a small area.
Tallow contains fatty acids that oxidize over time and may contribute to a yellow color in the sunscreen. This is normal.
Our Sun Balm is made with non-nano zinc oxide at 20%, making it around 25 SPF. We cannot guarantee exact SPF. Our products are not lab tested or evaluated by the FDA.
